Hi there, and welcome! My name is Justin Alber, and I’m the founder and artist behind Alber Photography. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Let me share a little about myself and the journey that led me to this incredible path.

Photography wasn’t always a part of my life. In fact, I discovered it later, in my 30s, during a time when I desperately needed a way to reconnect with the world. Surviving the events in 1999 profoundly shaped my life, leading to over a decade of depression that still continues to this day. For 12 years, I felt stuck—isolated and searching for a way to heal.

Then I found photography. What began as a simple way to get out of the house soon turned into a passion that reignited my sense of purpose. With my camera in hand, I started exploring the world again—rediscovering its beauty, resilience, and complexity. Photography became my therapy, my voice, and my means of telling stories that words often can’t capture.

I couldn’t have done this without the unwavering support of my wife, who has been my rock and my greatest cheerleader. She believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself, and her love continues to inspire me daily.

And then there’s Boozer—my best buddy and constant companion. Whether we’re chasing sunsets or simply relaxing at home, Boozer has a way of reminding me to appreciate life’s simple, joyful moments. He’s often by my side on my adventures, reminding me that every journey is better with a friend.

Through Alber Photography, my goal is to bring the beauty I’ve rediscovered into your home, workplace, or any space that could use a touch of inspiration. Each of my photographs is crafted with care, printed to the highest standard, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. These aren’t just pictures—they’re pieces of my journey, and I’m honored to share them with you.
